Crate training is hands down the most natural and effective
way to housebreak your dog. Some people have the
misconception that crates are cruel and inhumane. This
is not true; canines since the beginning of time have been
den animals; by nature they won't soil their den. The crate
is their home base, their safe place; they'll go to their
crate for quite time, to sleep, or just relax. The crate is
also a great benefit to keeping your pup safe and out of
trouble when you can't be there. Pups given free roam of
house too soon can find themselves in bad situations like
chewing furniture, shoes or the dreaded electrical cords.
The crate can provide structure when you can't; almost like
a babysitter. Whether your pup is 8 weeks old or 8 years
old it is never too late to crate train your dog, instincts are
never forgotten.
At For Dogs Sake! we train all dogs, from the young puppy
to the aggressive dog. Call or visit our website for more

Why should i crate train my dog?

are young, but when old and past
